It’s not just about you “going core” it’s also about creating culture where these practices are standard in your entire organization.

Now, before we dive into specifics I want you to understand we all have ups and downs in business. I’ve had great years and I’ve had not-so-great years. All leaders experience successes and failures along the way.
But I will tell you this. I want you to learn one thing from this article. It all comes down to MINDSET. I can’t tell you how many people come into network marketing or try to start some business online and get nowhere. Mindset is the “Inner Game” that is rarely focused on.
So What Does it Take To Become a Network Marketing Success?
1) Be a product of the products. Seriously, how can you sell something if you don’t believe in it yourself. The “core” means that if your company has a product, you would never buy a competing product for any reason. If your company has an autoship program you should be on it. You always carry enough inventory so you never run out of product. If your company has lots of products choose the ones that work best for you. Learn about your product, have knowledge or products and be enthusiastic about your products.
2) Develop a consumer group. This was one of the biggest mistakes I made when I was in a product based company. I came out of the gates sponsoring but never found consumers. Big mistake if you want network marketing success. What happens is you end of sponsoring people and they copy what your doing. Nobody is really developing a consumer group. These are people that just want to take your products. This creates two things in your business. Cash flow because your making sales and steady volume which is your residual. This creates long term business.
3) Follow the system. Do you want to be the next network marketing success than don’t try and reinvent the wheel. People that try and do things on their own we refer to as “lone rangers” and are usually short lived. For long term network marketing success you must follow a step-by-step duplicatable system and you yourself be duplicatable.
4) Attend all events to achieve network marketing success. I myself have missed events. None of us are perfect. Not by a long shot. But I can say this. Leaders with network marketing success attend events period. They do not miss. Yes, sitting home in your bunny slippers working on the internet is great but the energy and social proof can’t be found at home. Get to the meetings or events.
5) Be a student of the profession. If you want to become a network marketing success as quickly as possible you must be teachable. You will find network marketing is much different than a job or traditional business. Learn the methods, strategies, and techniques that work best in your business and be a sponge. Find leaders, ask questions and work your tail off.
6) Be accountable. Becoming a network marketing success comes with hard work and operating on trust. To earn and maintain trust make sure you show up. Don’t set appointments and not show up. Follow up with leads. When you promise to work with someone don’t blow them off. Treat people how you like to be treated. Personally I hate when people are no show’s for anything. Be accountable in all aspects of your life.
7) Practice edification. This one is often overlooked. Leaders with network marketing success always edify their sponsorship line. All that means is you “build up” someone else. When you point out success and accomplishments of your sponsors they will be much more effective when they work with your prospects and distributors.
8) Commit to a weekly exposure number and get it done. Every network marketing success story comes with exposure and lots of it. You can’t control how many people join your business or buy some product but you can control how many people you show it to. Commit to this every week and get the numbers done.
9) Spend daily self-development time. This is a must every single day to keep you on track. Want to be a network marketing success then read the books, listen to motivational cd’s go to the events, and choose your friends wisely. Your business will grow only as fast as you grow. That is a fact. When I started 12 years ago I had one thing going for me. Serious fire in the belly to succeed. But I needed to work on myself because I was surrounded by negativity my entire life. Work hard on yourself and you’ll be happy you did.
10) Do the right thing at all times. I’m serious about this. If you want network marketing success he honest with people, tell the truth, edify others, honor other team members and prospects and do what you promise. Period.
The ten core qualities are what separate those with network marketing success from amateurs. Practicing all the core qualities day in and day out isn’t always easy – it’s not suppose to be. You want to “Go Core” then you must practice all ten not just the ones you like.
