Importance Of Setting Goals

“While I agree many were born as victims of circumstances, I don’t believe they have to stay that way.”

Do you believe in the importance of setting goals or do you believe that everything we manifest in this world comes from circumstance, fate and luck?  This is one of the most important questions you can ask yourself.  I really mean it.  importance of setting goals

Most people I know go through life in quite desperation, reacting to drama, and challenges and a never ending supply of misfortune. I’m going to go a step further and say I believe people create their circumstances.  If your constantly reacting to bad thoughts you can actually attract bad things to you.

On the flip side if your living a “clean life” with daily personal development and goal setting your actually going to attract good things to you.  I know this to be true because it happened to me and I see it happen to people on both sides of the fence every single day.

You can read my story and see how I went from living in a garage with no heat, eating ramon noodles and having $11 dollars in my bank account to freedom and financial independence.  There were two things I focused on every single day no matter what.  The importance of setting goals and personal development.  Your business will grow only as fast as YOU grow.

Why don’t people put emphasis on the importance of setting goals?

Now most people don’t feel this way and for obvious reasons.  It’s  much easier to leave everything to chance, luck and destiny and other outside factors.  There’s not much work in it if any at all.  I always said if we can blame all our misfortune on God, nature, the economy or your asshole ex-spouse, it sure makes our life much more palatable doesn’t it?

I don’t want to get to deep here but I read a quote a while back.  I put it down in my notes at a Herbalife event 12 years ago but never wrote down who said it.    They said “Your soul attracts what it secretly harbors.”  That basically means that which it loves, and also that which is fears.  It’s really up to you so choose.  At least that’s how I took it at the time 😉

I wanted to share a video with opening keynote speaker and MOBE founder, Matt Lloyd.  This video was taken at the Titanium Mastermind in the Bahamas this past weekend.  He goes over some very powerful methods how you can transform your business and your life.  He goes over the importance of setting goals in 3 easy steps!  It’s all about “creating conditions” around you each and every day.

That means you can reach the height of your greatest aspirations and develop the natural tendency to think “different” and not participate in “tribal thought!”
