Would you like to know how to scale a business and get to that next level? What are some of the ways to do this? SEO, Twitter, Video Marketing, Blogging, Facebook etc. I’m here to tell you there are only THREE ways to get traffic.
How To Scale A Business – 3 Ways
You can work for it, you can borrow it, or you can buy it. That’s it.
The first way you can scale your business is your time and energy. For example blogging, video marketing, content creation may be free in terms of money but you have to spend time and effort in creating these things. So it’s not free. You’re putting in your sweat equity. You’re creating the content and doing it yourself.
The second way you can scale your business is through borrowing traffic. Borrowing is something else altogether. Basically it’s someone that already has the traffic. Maybe you have a product you created and you go in on a joint venture with someone you know from Facebook or maybe you’ve worked with this person in the past. Maybe this person will promote your new product to their list and you will give him a percentage of the profit. You’re borrowing from someone else’s traffic.
The third way you can scale your business is buying traffic. Buying it is pretty common. PPC, Facebook, Google, banner ads, solo ads and those type of things. In the beginning it’s ok to do some free methods or you can borrow traffic to get going but I have never grown a significant internet company this way. Not once. If you want to scale a business you need to buy traffic and scale.
Joint ventures, borrowing other peoples traffic you can’t get pretty good results. SEO and content creation is going to take a long time before you start seeing real results. Most people quit or go out of business before they get there. Most of the money I have made is through buying traffic and scaling business.
Most people complicate traffic and most in fact lose money. So a good place to start is knowing your cost per click, cost per lead and cost per sale. Where will you buy the traffic. Have a conversion process that works. There are so many systems and trainings out there but it pretty much comes down to that.
Scale Your Business – Cost
How much is your ads costing you for a click. How much is it costing you for that person to opt in. How much is it costing you to get a sale. If the numbers work in your favor you can scale.
For example, lets say you spend $4 for someone to click on your ad and opt in to your landing page. Lets say it takes 6 of those people to actually buy your product or service. So your spending $24 to make that sale. Lets say the product or service they are purchasing is profiting you $48. That means your doubling your money. That campaign is a winner and you should scale.
Scale A Business- Backend
You also have to take into consideration you are building your list and will be able to promote to these people on the back end. Always remember you make pennies in the initial sale but there is a fortune to be made in the follow up.
It’s really as simple as that. For every $1 I spend on advertising I want to make $2 back. If you want more information on how to scale a business feel free to comment below or contact me personally.
